Smitten in San Francisco

Who do we love? You. Obviously, we love you. But do you want to know who else we love? Victoria Smith, the genius behind SFGIRLBYBAY. We super love her; we love her blog, love her pins and love her tweets. Love.

With a self-described bohemian modern style, the images she curates are creative, interesting, and beautiful; her site is a source of inspiration for the bluGloss Design Team. Victoria has a fantastic eye -- in fact many of the images she posts, tweets and pins are her own. We are so impressed.

And we’re not the only ones. Victoria has been featured in too many fab places to list here but a number of recent and notable accomplishments: Victoria just appeared in West Elm’s catalog and blog; she was named one of the Top 20 Interiors Blogs by the Telegraph U.K.; and voted #10 of the London Times Top 50 Design Blogs. The list goes on…and on!

Source of Inspiration

As we mentioned, as a source for inspiration, SFGIRLBYBAY is tough to beat.

Here are images from Victoria's recent post on Non-Perishable Goods:

Simple, clean, cool.

Victoria presents a mix of vibes, but -- not surprisingly -- modern and bohemian dominate. The site is aesthetically unique and anything but boring.

Watch out, cool factor about to get turned to 11: these are Victoria Smith originals. Talent in spades, that one.

Part of what makes SFGIRLBYBAY so fun are the awesome contributors. Take contributor Danielle Krysa, herself the author of another favorite blog, The Jealous Curator -- whose tagline pretty much sums it up, “Damn. I wish I’d thought of that.” Yes. Exactly.

Danielle introduces us to cool artists -- and more importantly, to art that otherwise would probably remain below our radar. Case in point, this ceramics piece by Debra Broz, Lamb as Bear. Adorable, interesting...odd. We can't get enough!

A bit more mainstream is the work Danielle shares by Lisa Golightly:

We want that endless summer!

Glossers, given the size of her following, you're probably already dialed in to SFGIRLBYBAY -- but if you're not, you should be. Join us in our obsession.

Confidently Yours!
